In this course, students will study graphical representations of data, measures of center and spread, elementary probability, sampling distributions, correlation and regression, statistical inference involving two or more means, chi-squared tests for independence.
This course prepares students to understand, analyze, and solve real-life problems that require quantitative reasoning. Math for the Real World is to inspire students to act wisely when faced with quantitative challenges in collegiate coursework, employment, and daily living.
GESCI 110 – Sustaining Human Life graders will be assigned to GESCI 110. This course addresses two crucial and compelling questions facing the world: How will we feed nine billion people by the year 2050, and how will we care for those nine billion people?
EC3 reviewers will focus on scoring and providing helpful feedback for EC3 learners on speaking and writing submissions to help them advance in their language skills and be successful in university classes.
PathwayConnect Team Graders provide support for PCIB-101 Life Skills and PCIB 102 – Professional Skills courses by providing accurate feedback on students’ assignments to help them understand where they did well or where they might need improvement.
General Public Health graders may be assigned to support one of the following introductory-level public health courses: NURS 105 – Introduction to Nursing, PUBH 240 – Introduction to Public Health, or PUBH 480 – Global Health.
Computer programming graders may be assigned to four courses that provide students with foundational computer programming skills enabling them to contribute on software development teams.
Marketing graders will be assigned to MKT 120. In this course, students will gain an understanding of marketing principles and the fundamentals of professional sales.
Accounting Graders may be assigned to two courses on accounting principles: BUS 180 Cash Accounting and ACCTG 180 Survey of Accounting. Qualified individuals could also grade for BUS 115 Business Applications, an Excel course.
